HOW TO CONTACT US?

We no longer have a telephone service. The easiest way is to contact us by email at info@rubanvert.fr, via the contact form below, or on social media. We recommend reading these FAQs, which cover the most frequently asked questions.

HOW TO BOOK WITH THE “PASS NANTES”?

Go to our Nantes-Île de Versailles base and book on-site for the same day or another day. We will scan your PASS and you will not have to pay anything. We do not take bookings by email due to numerous cancellations.

WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?

All our rates are displayed on our website on the PRACTICAL INFO page. There are two variables for rental prices: the rental duration and the size of the boat.

IS THE INDICATED RATE PER BOAT OR PER PERSON?

The price is for the boat rental, regardless of the size of the crew.
Example: one hour on a Ruban boat = €27 for 1, 2, or 3 people.

IS A SECURITY DEPOSIT REQUIRED?

Upon arrival, you must present an ID, which will be returned to you immediately. For large boats (5, 7, and 9-seater models), a credit card pre-authorization or a check for €300 will be required.

ARE LIFE JACKETS PROVIDED?

We systematically provide a life jacket to the entire crew before boarding: children, babies, infants, and adults. We remind you that wearing a life jacket is mandatory.

AT WHAT AGE CAN YOU RENT A BOAT ALONE?

You must be 18 years old.

CAN PREGNANT WOMEN BOARD OUR BOATS?

Of course, they can also enjoy the trip.

CAN BABIES/CHILDREN COME ON BOARD?

There is no minimum age to board Ruban Vert electric boats. Babies, infants, children, and adults are individually provided with a life jacket before boarding. Wearing a life jacket is mandatory.

ARE DOGS ALLOWED ON THE BOATS?

Yes, our canine friends are welcome on board; we simply ask that you return the boat in the same state of cleanliness as when you arrived. Please think of the next customers ;). Note that on the Île de Versailles in Nantes, pets are no longer accepted.

IS A LICENSE NECESSARY TO DRIVE THE ELECTRIC BOATS?

No, all our boats can be driven WITHOUT a license. How to operate them will be explained to you on the pontoon by a Ruban Vert crew member before you board.

FOR BOOKINGS, IS IT BETTER TO BOOK FROM YOUR SITE OR COME DIRECTLY ON-SITE?

We strongly advise you to book from our website to ensure the availability of our boats and therefore your trip. Furthermore, this avoids queuing on-site.

WHEN MAKING A BOOKING, HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I ARRIVE?

We recommend arriving approximately 15 minutes before your booking time. However, if your booking is at the end of the day, there may be delays related to previous rentals. We make every effort to ensure you depart on time and we count on you to return on time out of respect for the following customers.

WE BOOKED FROM YOUR SITE, BUT UNFORTUNATELY THE WEATHER IS NOT FAVORABLE FOR A TRIP; ARE WE REFUNDED?

Your booking is final. Regardless of the weather, the Ruban Vert rental base is open, the staff is present, and your boat is ready for you to board for a beautiful sail. Furthermore, all our boats are equipped with protective awnings (sun or rain).

ARE WE PROTECTED FROM THE SUN ON THE BOATS?

All our boats are equipped with an awning that can also serve as protection in case of rain.

CAN WE TAKE THE BOAT TO ANOTHER BASE?

No, each of our 4 bases is independent.

HOW DO YOU CALCULATE A DELAY WHEN RETURNING FROM A TRIP?

We have a 5-minute flexibility. Beyond that, the next rate tier is applied.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED?

Credit card on-site and online via our website – Cash – Chèques-vacances and Chèques-vacances CONNECT (on-site only) – Bank checks are no longer accepted.

I WISH TO PAY BY ANCV – CHÈQUE-VACANCES (PAPER OR CONNECT), HOW DO I PROCEED?

We invite you to visit one of our bases a few days in advance to finalize your booking and proceed with payment in PAPER or CONNECT Chèques-vacances format (via the ANCV application). We no longer take bookings by email due to numerous cancellations.
