As the days grow longer and the sun is out, outdoor picnics are definitely back on the cards. Why not combine a boat outing on the river with a picnic on the bank!
With the kids, a group of friends, or just as a romantic twosome, there’s nothing like a boat trip to let off steam and get away from it all for a few hours.
It’s going to be a perfect day: the sky is blue, the river is flowing gently and the birds are singing. Just the right moment to eat out on the river, surrounded by nature.
Take a break during your cruise aboard our silent electric boats fitted with tables, the “Sensas”, the “Set” and “Most” models.
Like to picnic on the grass as in Edouard Manet’s famous painting? Moor on one of the many public pontoons available along the bank and have a picnic break before cruising on. Please note: you are not allowed to stop anywhere else along the banks!
After your meal, fun and games with the kids, or just a quiet snooze or sunbathe! Outdoor games like “boules” and “pétanque” or badminton are also great favorites for a bit of family fun.
Our different routes along the River Erdre or in Vertou at the Chaussée des Moines causeway, and the magnificent Mazerolles marshes, are ideal spots for eating in the great outdoors.

For a successful picnic outing book your boat well in advance. If you want to picnic on board, you need to book a “Sensas”, a “Set” or a “Most” model, fitted with a table, to picnic in style.
