Safety is an essential element of your rental
Here are a few safety guidelines to follow to fully enjoy your trip along the Erdre or the Sèvre Nantaise.
1 – A life jacket has been provided to each crew member. We remind you that wearing them is mandatory.
2– Alcohol consumption is prohibited for the pilot and in all cases, it must be consumed in moderation.
3 – Stopping on undeveloped banks and under bridges is prohibited. If you need to stop, refer to this map or download the free Ruban Vert app on the App Store or Google Play.
Authorized docks are:
• Between Nantes and Nort-sur-Erdre; Port des Charrettes, Anse de Gachet, Port de Sucé-sur-Erdre, La Gamotrie, the end of the Plaine de la Poupinière, and the Port de Nort-sur-Erdre
• From Vertou: the Port de la Haie-Fouassière
4 – If you pass any fishers, please keep clear of their lines…
5 – Before departing, please check that you have the necessary safety equipment for your cruise to run smoothly. Namely: hats, sunscreen, life jackets, a phone with a full battery, cushions, blankets, etc.
6 – Upon your return to the dock, please wait for instructions from the Ruban Vert crew member before docking and disembarking from your boat.
